In the beginning on how we got started..

The foundation of the Alliance Entertainment Group began in 1992, when Derrick"D-Teflon" Ling orginally from New York City founded the Smooth Entertainment Group under the mentorship of Radio Personality Chris Sheppherd and on air DJ DJ Fran learned the ropes of the nightlife industry and entered the Toronto Nightlife scene as a Go-Go Dancer and as well dance choregrapher from there he moved up the ranks holding various positions from bar and security staff to including nightclub manager to start his journey on what would later where he would become one of the biggest nightclub entertainment promoters in the city in the early 90's when he met a man who he became close friends with a well known club dj who eventually became co-partner Bobby Clark aka DJ RC who left the nightlife scene in 95 and shortly after that the company was later sold.

The Alliance Entertainment Group founded by C.E.O Actor,Celebrity Bodyguard Film/TV producer Derrick"D-Teflon" Ling has been in operation for over a decade going strong since 1993 until he took the company public & expanded its operations in 2000.

Ling who stars as Christopher Darden in the daytime drama FX The Series & also known from the True Life Reality Series Guarding the Stars is a former professional musician who has an extensive background in nightclub & talent management,executive & celebrity protection is also known by many in the Hollywood Industry & his peers as D-Teflon

DTeflon has become a legendary pioneer in the biz who works currently with some of the biggest names in the film/tv fitness modelling,music adult entertainment industry for over 20yrs in USA & Canada is principally responsible for at AE packaging (i.e. combining actors, writers and directors) and has joint responsibility for signing new talent & concept development on film/tv projects all primary nightclub operations & everyday AE operations and contracts for our clients in USA & Canada & oversea's.
DTEFLON'S 18YR NIGHTCLUB MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

D-Teflon who handles also the primary nightclub operations of AE Nightclub Venues entered the entertainment industry in the early 90's under the mentorship of radio personalities.

Ling credits Chris Sheppherd,Wayne Williams Deadly Hedley & the late DJ Fran for helping learn the ropes of the nightlife industry.

Ling who at the time after spending several years on the street in and out of trouble at the time with the law decided to turn his life around after he was convinced by the three to start working with them after being spotted for his talent as a street dancer was offered a job as a as a Go-Go Dancer at one of the biggest clubs in the city RPM.

DTeflon is now considered by many to be the future as one of the most professional entertainment figures and he plans to continue to keep raising the bar year after year until the Alliance Entertainment Group is placed as the dominant # 1 force in the Entertainment Industry.

DTeflon began taking private classes & began studying the art of hip hop and tap and jazz and worked as a dance choregrapher teaching private classes to other enspring dancers during the day & worked at night as a Go-Go exotic dancer for various clubs & holding various positions from bartender to security which eventually would land him a promotion to be one of the first ever black nightclub managers in the city.

Ling began to make a major name for himself in the nightlife industry and started his journey on what would later be the love of of giving the people what they wanted and in no time Ling being the people person and making various contacts with some of the top players in the biz and club owners all over the city working on some of the popular nightspots he was then asked if he ever thought about getting into promoting and always up to new challenges he took it by storm and would become one of the biggest nightclub entertainment promoters in the city and some still say to this day in Canada.

He started up a small promo company in the early 90's when he met a man who he became close friends with a well known club dj who he worked with at a popular hotspot and the two eventually became so close they formed a the Smooth Entertainment Group where he would co-partner with Bobby Clark aka DJ RC and the two began throwing some of the hottest parties in town for 4yrs until who Bobby decided to leave the nightlife scene in 95 and shortly after that the company Smooth Entertainment was later sold.

When back visiting in Toronto DTeflon prior to getting into the film industry is considered to be one of the key pioneers of the nightlife industry in Canada who has been involved with the nightlife industry for well over a decade throwing some of the biggest celebrity events to date for some of the biggest celebs world wide from players from the NBA,NFL,WWE,MLB to some of the biggest music artists and actors in the industry today.
